The footage was recorded in the Himalayas, India and showed the big cat tussling with what appeared to be a Bharal, a type of ram found in the area. Despite surviving the initial 400ft fall, the Bharal appears to die following the repeated drops from the cliff, while the snow leopard survives and can be seen dragging its prey along the ground.
